With the North Carolina Wolfpack facing 4th-and-11 while trailing 24-7 on the road at No. 16 Notre Dame, it was clear the play was pivotal.
Wolfpack quarterback CJ Bailey didn’t see Fighting Irish safety Adon Shuler, and Shuler stepped in front of Bailey’s pass to ensure the drive would end.
Notre Dame would end up getting a field goal on the ensuing drive, thus adding further distance between the Irish and the visiting Wolfpack.
