Dolphins vs. Panthers betting preview: Spread, over/under, pick to win

The Miami Dolphins are hitting the road to face the Carolina Panthers in a Week 5 matchup of 1-3 teams. Miami is looking to build off a Week 4 Monday Night Football victory against the New York Jets and face a hobbled Carolina team dealing with several injuries, including starting running back Chuba Hubbard.

The Dolphins have dealt with a fair share of injuries this season as well, and lost wide receiver Tyreek Hill for the season with a knee injury suffered Monday. They’re still down multiple cornerbacks and offensive linemen, as well.

Dolphins vs. Panthers score prediction

Miami has more talent than the Panthers and are justifiable favorites despite the road matchup. Without Hubbard, the Panthers will start Rico Dowdle in his place, and Miami will look to integrate wide receiver Malik Washington more with Hill’s absence.

The Panthers are dead last in the NFL in pressures, so Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who hasn’t been sacked since Week 2, could be relatively at ease in the pocket. Miami’s defense has also played better the last couple weeks. Dolphins 31, Panthers 17
