Two nights after Paul McCartney kicked off his Got Back North American Tour 2025 at the venue, The Who performed on the same desert stage. The group’s Oct. 1 set included many mod anthems, the rock opera grandeur of “Tommy” and “Quadrophenia,” and even some gems from the later years.
However, there were no special guests and no encores. The two-hour show, which was billed as the final date on The Song is Over North American Farewell Tour ended with a simple thank you speech.
