Wisconsin football remains unranked in the US LBM Coaches Poll following Week 2 of the 2025 season.
The Badgers are 2-0 through two weeks, with a 17-0 Week 1 win over Miami (Ohio) and a 42-10 Week 2 triumph over Middle Tennessee State. After the team entered the season outside both the AP and coaches poll top 25, wins over low-ranked opponents haven’t changed its national standing. A statement Week 3 win over Alabama, ranked No. 18 in the updated coaches poll, would do just that.
Six Big Ten teams are in the coaches’ top 25 after two weeks. Those are Ohio State (No. 1), Penn State (No. 2), Oregon (No. 5), Illinois (No. 9), Indiana (No. 19) and Michigan (No. 22). USC, Nebraska and Washington are also receiving votes.
The biggest movers after the Week 2 action are Florida State (up seven spots to No. 12), Oklahoma (up eight to No. 16), Michigan (down nine to No. 22), South Florida (up 16 to No. 23) and Arizona State (down 14 to No. 24).

Wisconsin and Alabama are set for a noon ET, 11 a.m. CT kickoff from Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Saturday. Both teams badly need a decisive victory after less-than-stellar starts to the season.
