Four Calallen high school softball players earn NFCA All-American honors

Calallen pitcher Jordyn Thibodeaux, alongside teammates Kylie Butcher, Braelyn Bailey and Brookelynn Meador were named to the 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Softball team.

The junior pitcher Thibodeaux was named to the first-team with sophomore outfielder Kylie Butcher earning second-team honors.

Junior first baseman Braelyn Bailey and senior shortstop Brookelynn Meador were named to the third-team.

Forty student-athletes from 33 different schools were named to the team with Calallen’s four honorees being the most in the country.

The Wildcats are coming off their third consecutive UIL Class 4A state championship in May after defeating Andrews in the state championship game.

All four athletes were also named to the Caller-Times All-South Texas team and the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 4A All-State Softball Team.
