A soap opera star and Cincinnati native recently shouted out what she loves about her hometown.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” actor Rebecca Budig praised Graeter’s Ice Cream and the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden in an interview with entertainment journalist Courtney Tezeno.

Budig, a School for Creative and Performing Arts alum, broke out as a soap opera actor as part of the cast of the ABC show “All My Children.” She then had a stint performing in “General Hospital” before landing her current role as Dr. Taylor Hayes on the CBS soap “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
When breaking down her go-to Cincinnati spots in the interview, distributed by Utah-based news station KJZZ 14, Budig said the Cincinnati Zoo is her No. 1 destination to visit when in the Queen City.
“I love the Cincinnati Zoo. I go there like a lot,” Budig said.
She went on to shout out Graeter’s, saying her favorite flavors are chocolate chip and salted caramel chip. And, specifically, she’s a self-proclaimed enthusiast for Graeter’s chocolate chips.
“You can get basically candy bar-size chunks in that ice cream. And it’s just so good,” Budig said.
And though she’s not a huge baseball fan, Budig said she enjoys going to Cincinnati Reds games for the experience. Being “more of a football fan,” she also, of course, roots for the Bengals.
