On Monday, Mason High School announced the hiring of its newest softball coach.
Pending board approval, the Comets plan to hire Louis Coduti. Coduti has been the softball coach at Lockland since 2019. In that time, he was named Miami Valley Conference Coach of the Year three times and The Enquirer’s Coach of the year twice.
Coduti is taking over for Liann Muff, who retired this spring after coaching the Comets to a pair of state tournament appearances over the past 15 years.
“I am honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to coach the Mason softball team,” Coduti said in a release from Mason. “I am ready to commit 100% of my efforts to this community and program.”
Coduti is a U.S. Air Force veteran and was named the Lockland District Educator of the Year for 2023-2024. He will join the Mason Middle School faculty this fall.
