‘Bachelor in Paradise’ season 10: What we know about the new location, Hannah Brown's return

ABC’s popular “Bachelor” spinoff, “Bachelor in Paradise” is coming back this summer, with a ton of new twists. And this season will be a little more mature… Literally.

The show is returning with not only the contestants from past seasons of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” but also some from the “Golden” shows, who are 55 and up.

During the finale for Grant Ellis’ season of “The Bachelor” in March, host Jesse Palmer called up Gary Levingston (from Joan Vassos’ inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelorette”) and Leslie Fhima (Gerry Turner’s “Golden Bachelor” runner-up) to make the announcement.

“The beach is my thing, so I’m very excited,” Fhima said. “And I’m so excited to be with my old friends, make new friends and just maybe find love.”

Palmer didn’t reveal how the show will work, with what seems to be two separate casts on the beach, telling viewers to “tune in for themselves.”

According to ABC’s new promotional content following Ellis’ finale, it seems the casts from all four shows will mingle on the same set. “‘Golden’ men and women will be hitting the beach alongside all your ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ favorites from seasons past,” ABC said.

But “Golden” contestants being added to the cast isn’t the only big change coming this season. Hannah Brown, one of the most popular “Bachelorette” alumni to star on the show, will be on the beach this summer, but not to find love. And there’s an all-new filming location for this season, meaning this will be the first iteration of the spinoff not filmed in Mexico.

Here’s when “Bachelor in Paradise” season 10 will air this summer, how to watch, what we know about Hannah Brown’s “Paradise” appearance and where the show is filming its tenth season.

Where is Hannah Brown now? ‘Bachelorette’ alum will guest star

ABC revealed that former “Bachelorette” Hannah Brown, who’s still a Bachelor Nation fan-favorite, will join the show as a new bartender “bringing the bubbly” to an “all-new Champagne Lounge.”

Much like “Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise” alum Wells Adams, who is the long-standing bartender (and often advice-giver) on the show, Hannah won’t be looking for love on the beach. She will be there for anything the contestants need, from dating advice, to helping them set up romantic picnics, to pouring bubbly, of course.

Since her time as “The Bachelorette” in 2019, Hannah has found love of her own outside of the franchise. When she’s not on the beach giving dating advice, Hannah lives in Nashville with her fiance Adam Woolard.

“The Brown addition comes amid struggling ratings for the franchise and a location move to Costa Rica for the upcoming 10th ‘Paradise’ season after the series left its longtime home at Playa Escondida in Sayulita, Mexico,” USA TODAY reported.

Where is ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ filmed?

Since the show’s start in 2014, it’s been filmed at the luxury Playa Escondida Resort in Sayulita, Mexico, located 40 minutes from Puerto Vallarta.

But this season, ABC announced a change of location: Costa Rica! Where, exactly, the resort they’re staying at will be has yet to be confirmed.

“The specific filming site has not been confirmed, but a resort in Guanacaste or the Nicoya Peninsula is likely, given their beachfront locations and amenities,” Costa Rican news outlet The Tico Times reported in April.
