Popular Mexican restaurant in Irondequoit temporarily closed after vehicle hits building

Monte Alban Mexican Grill at 717 Titus Ave., Irondequoit, is temporarily closed after a vehicle struck the side of the building facing the restaurant’s parking lot, damaging a section around the entrance, which on Friday morning crews were working to repair.

News of the incident was shared Friday, April 4, on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

No reopening date has been announced yet. In the meantime, customers are being told to visit Monte Alban’s other Irondequoit location at 845 East Ridge Road.

The Titus Avenue restaurant opened in early 2024.

Monte Alban also has locations Penfield, Webster and Gates.
