Lakeland Christian couldn’t extend its streak of winning state titles, but the Vikings still returned to the Final Four and lost in overtime to eventual state champion Palm Beach Gardens Benjamin. LCS, however, wasn’t the only strong team in girls soccer as Victory Christian reached the regional finals, beating district champion All Saints along the way. Santa Fe Catholic was also a strong small school. Among the bigger schools, George Jenkins and McKeel were district champions. Jenkins, McKeel and Lakeland Christian all tied each other during the season.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Addie Lemmond

Defender
Lemmond is a shutdown defender whose play at center back was a difference maker in big games. As important as she is on defense, Lemmond also made an impact on offense as her 17 goals and 13 assists were both second on the team. Lemmond has signed with Charleston Southern.
COACH OF THE YEAR

Victory Christian
Lemmond took over as head coach when former coach Delille Edoizin died four years ago and continued building what Edoizin had started. He led the Storm to a 16-6-1 record. Victory finished district runner-up to All Saints then defeated All Saints in the playoffs and went on to finish regional runner-up.
