Woman injured in June 8 shooting in Fox Crossing

A woman was injured in a shooting at an apartment complex in Fox Crossing, the Fox Crossing Police Department said.

Officers responded to the shooting around 6 a.m. June 8 in the 2400 block of Honey Lou Court. A friend drove the woman to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury while police officers were on their way to the apartment.

Police said no one else at the apartment was injured. Based on the investigation, the woman and the suspect know each other. The shooting remains under investigation and no one has been arrested as of 2:20 p.m. June 8.
