In a result that should surprise no one around here, the Wisconsin State Fair was voted one of the country’s best state fairs in the annual USA TODAY 10BBEST Readers’ Choice Awards.
According to 10BEST, the Wisconsin State Fair ranks No. 3, beaten only by the state fairs in Minnesota and Iowa at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively. The Wisconsin State Fair finished ahead of such biggies as the State Fair of Texas (ranked 4th) and the Ohio State Fair (ranked 10th).
How the winners were chosen: A panel of industry experts recommended attractions in these categories. 10BEST editors selected a final set of nominees, which were voted on by the public over a four-week period.
The 2025 Wisconsin State Fair continues through Aug. 10 at State Fair Park in West Allis.
