Wisconsin football offers three-star class of 2027 linebacker

Wisconsin football extended an offer to three-star class of 2027 linebacker Matthew Brady Tuesday evening.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound defender owns offers from roughly 15 programs thus far, including from Michigan State, Minnesota, Virginia Tech, Army, Wyoming and North Dakota State. 247Sports considers the Bloomington, Illinois, product the No. 1,203 overall recruit, No. 111 linebacker and No. 41 player from Illinois for the class of 2027.

Brady joins a collection of 2027 linebackers, headlined by blue-chippers Kaden Henderson, Prince Goldsby and Brayton Feister, to receive an offer from Luke Fickell’s program at this stage of the recruiting process. He’s scheduled to officially visit Michigan State the weekend of May 29. The visit to East Lansing marks his only official visit plan for the summer window, per 247Sports.

Wisconsin’s class of 2027 has risen in national hierarchies following a recent string of high-profile commitments, most notably quarterback Jack Sorgi and safety DJ Davis. As of April 28, 247Sports pegged UW’s 2027 cohort as the No. 12 class in the nation. On3/Rivals, meanwhile, put the Badgers at No. 19.
