Wisconsin class of 2026 commit, tight end Jack Janda, has upcoming visits scheduled to Big Ten rivals Iowa and Michigan State, according to 247Sports’ Allen Trieu. He’s set to visit Iowa City, Iowa, on Nov. 8, and East Lansing, Michigan, on Nov. 15.
Janda committed to the Badgers back in early June, choosing the program over Michigan State, Stanford and Illinois. The Spartans, Fighting Illini and Iowa Hawkeyes have continued their pursuit of the Orchard Lake, Michigan, native this fall, notably as Wisconsin’s on-field struggles have generated uncertainties about head coach Luke Fickell’s future.

247Sports currently lists Janda as a three-star recruit. He’s specifically ranked as the No. 812 player in the class of 2026, the No. 44 tight end and the No. 16 player from his home state. Despite being listed as a tight end, Trieu notes that schools are ‘revisiting him as a defensive lineman.’
Wisconsin’s class of 2026 currently ranks No. 56 nationally with 15 commitments. The program may need to work hard to keep that group together, as the class’ top commits, including four-star running back Amari Latimer, four-star wide receiver Jayden Petit and three-star defensive lineman Djidjou Bah, are all receiving significant interest elsewhere.
