WIAA softball: How the 2025 postseason has gone for Central Wisconsin teams; results

With the sectional round of the 2025 WIAA softball playoffs set to kick off on June 3, there are a handful of Central Wisconsin teams still alive.

As the postseason race tightens, there are just a few more games for clubs to win to emerge out of the WIAA softball tournament and into the state dance in pursuit of a state title.

Here is a look at how the postseason has gone so far for Central Wisconsin teams, and what’s next and teams fight and claw to reach the state tournament. 

Division 1:

May 27: No. 9 Hudson beat No 8. Marshfield 13-1. 

No. 4 Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln beat No. 13 River Falls 11-1

No. 3 New Richmond beat No. 14 Wausau East 13-1

No. 6 Superior beat No. 11 Wausau West 7-6.

Upcoming, May 29: No. 9 Hudson at No. 1 D.C. Everest

No. 5  Chippewa Falls at No. 4 Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln

No. 7 Menomonie at No. 2 Stevens Point.

Division 2:

May 22: No. 7 New London beat No. 10 Colby/Abbotsford 11-0.

May 27: No. 2 Medford beat No. 7 New London 4-3

No. 6 Merrill beat No. 3 Antigo

No. 1 Mosinee beat No. 8 Waupaca 17-1.

Division 3:
