The Post-Crescent all-area high school boys basketball team will be released in mid-April. We want to know who you think should be the Post-Crescent player of the year in the Appleton area this season.

Here’s a look at the candidates.
Caleb Dahlke, Fox Valley Lutheran
The 6-foot-5 senior forward/guard was a first-team all-Bay Conference selection. Averaged 17.6 points and 6.5 rebounds.
Joseph Daly, New London
The 6-7 senior forward was a unanimous first-team all-Bay Conference pick. Averaged 22.2 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists.
Donovan Davis, Freedom
The 6-8 junior forward was a first-team WBCA all-state selection for the second consecutive season. Was the North Eastern Conference player of the year and a unanimous first-team selection. Averaged 21.7 points, 12 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.3 steals.
Bryer Hagberg, Clintonville
The 6-7 senior was a first-team all-North Eastern Conference selection. Averaged 18.5 points and 11.3 rebounds.
Grant Hardy, Appleton North
The 6-4 senior was a first-team WBCA all-state pick in Division 1. Was a unanimous first-team all-Fox Valley Association selection. Helped lead the Lightning to the WIAA Division 1 state tournament. Averaged 14 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Andrew Jensen, Kaukauna
The 6-10 senior forward was a first-team WBCA all-state selection in Division 1. Was a unanimous first-team all-Fox Valley Association pick and on the league’s all-defensive team. Averaged 17.5 points, 12.1 rebounds and 2.2 blocks.
Alex Krause, Kimberly
The 6-5 junior guard was a first-team all-Fox Valley Association selection. Averaged 15.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists.
Colton Larsen, Brillion
The 6-4 junior forward was a unanimous first-team all-Eastern Wisconsin Conference pick. Averaged 18.4 points and 6.3 rebounds.
Kyler Marks, Seymour
The 6-4 forward/center was a big key in helping the Thunder reach the WIAA Division 3 state championship game. Was a unanimous first-team all-Bay Conference selection and the league’s player of the year. Averaged 20.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
Logan Ramczyk, Xavier
The 6-2 junior guard was a unanimous first-team all-Bay Conference pick. Averaged 23.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.4 steals.
Brody Schaffer, Winneconne
The 6-1 senior guard was a first-team all-Bay Conference selection and made the league’s all-defensive team. Averaged 20.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.0 assists.
Trevor Verhagen, Little Chute
The 6-2 junior guard was a unanimous first-team all-North Eastern Conference selection. Averaged 15.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
Mason Uhlenbrauck, St. Mary Catholic
The 6-2 senior guard was a unanimous first-team all-Big East North pick. Averaged 16.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
