The Wisconsin Badgers enter the 2025-26 Big Ten Tournament as the No. 5 seed. Up first, a third-round matchup against the No. 12-seed Washington Huskies.
Washington defeated No. 13-seed USC 83-79 in overtime on Wednesday afternoon. Zoom Diallo led the way for the Huskies, tallying 22 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists, while shooting 7-of-20 from the field.
Wisconsin went 1-0 against Washington during the regular season. That 17-point victory, which occurred on the road in Seattle, Washington, ignited the Badgers’ late-season push. The team went on to defeat Maryland decisively, then concluded its regular-season slate with a statement triumph over No. 15 Purdue.
Greg Gard’s team will look to carry that strong momentum into the conference tournament, with a golden opportunity to improve its upcoming NCAA Tournament seed.
