When Wisconsin volleyball will unveil Final Four banner, hold alumni match

MADISON – The date is set for the unveiling of Wisconsin volleyball’s Final Four banner – and a chance to see some current and former Badgers compete.

Wisconsin’s 2026 alumni match will be Aug. 8 at the UW Field House, the team announced April 30.

The alumni match will include the banner reveal with the help of Mimi Colyer, Carter Booth and Jada Cerniglia, according to the social media announcement that was since deleted due to an incorrect date. Alicia Andrew also will be part of the celebration. They were the seniors on the team that went 28-5 and earned UW’s fifth Final Four appearance since 2019.

Many of the players from the Final Four team have since either exhausted their eligibility or transferred. Along with Colyer, Booth and Cerniglia, middle blocker Alicia Andrew also was a senior. Una Vajagic was among the Badgers who transferred after the season.

UW will unveil the rosters and other information for the alumni match at a later date.

Other opportunities to see the Badgers at the UW Field House include their nonconference matches against Florida and Auburn as part of the Big Ten/SEC Challenge. It also should be UW’s turn to host Marquette in the annual in-state series, although that has not yet been announced.
