The Super Bowl dream is alive for 14 NFL teams.
After 18 weeks of one of the most unpredictable regular seasons in some time, seven NFC teams and seven AFC teams remain and aspire to win the Super Bowl next month.
Several newcomers have crashed the party in 2025 – five teams that didn’t make the field in 2024 are in the bracket this season, including the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that went 4-13 last season and had the No. 2 pick in last spring’s draft.
Meanwhile, the playoffs will go on without the Kansas City Chiefs, the first time that’s happened since 2014. The reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles return and will look for another run at the Lombardi Trophy.
Oh, and Aaron Rodgers, in his first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, is back in the postseason for the first time since 2021. Will the four-time MVP get a fairytale ending to his Hall of Fame career?
Wild-card weekend begins with six games, highlighted by the NFL’s oldest rivalry, featuring the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.
If the playoffs are anything like the regular season, expect a wild few weeks leading up to Super Bowl 60.

The Super Bowl is set for 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8.

What is the date of the Super Bowl?
Super Bowl 60 is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, two weeks after the NFC and AFC championship games.
Super Bowl location
The Super Bowl will be held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
It’ll be the second time the home of the San Francisco 49ers is hosting a Super Bowl. It was the site of Super Bowl 50 in 2016 when Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos defeated Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers, 24-10.
The Super Bowl will also return to California next season. Super Bowl 61 will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. That’ll be the second time SoFi Stadium will host the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl halftime show
Bad Bunny is coming to the Super Bowl. And this time as the lead act.
Five years after being a guest performer for Super Bowl 55 in 2021, the international superstar gets the stage to himself at halftime.
Since that first appearance alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, the Puerto Rican rapper and record producer’s stardom has skyrocketed even more and he’ll arrive to the Super Bowl as the year’s most-streamed artist for the third time.

With the playoffs set to begin and the Super Bowl less than a month away, here’s a look at ticket prices for the big game:
On StubHub, with only 4% of the tickets remaining, the cheapest as of Jan. 6 is $6,982. Most in the upper deck at Levi’s Stadium are in the $7,000-$11,000 range.
Tickets in the lower levels soar to levels around $20,000-$30,000.

Super Bowl favorites
The Seattle Seahawks (14-3), the NFC’s top-seeded team, are the favorites to win the Super Bowl. They’re followed by the Los Angeles Rams (12-5), the fifth seed in the NFC, but who have the second-best record in the conference. The Broncos (14-3), the AFC’s top-seeded team whose last Super Bowl victory came at Levi’s Stadium 10 years ago, have the third-lowest odds.
