The No. 6 Wisconsin volleyball team faces its first road match this season Friday, Sept. 12, at No. 21 Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
The Badgers are coming off three consecutive straight-set nonconference victories — against UW-Milwaukee on Sept. 9, Chicago State on Sept. 5 and UC-Davis on Sept. 4.
Wisconsin (4-1) has faced two ranked opponents this season, both in the Opening Spike Classic that it hosted Labor Day weekend at the Kohl Center in Madison. The Badgers downed No. 14 Kansas in five sets Aug. 29 but lost to No. 5 Texas in straight sets Aug. 31.
Georgia Tech (5-2) is coming off a four-set loss to Tennessee on Sept. 9.
