Lauren Avenatti made her debut April 20. Originally from Newport Beach, California, she worked as a weekend anchor and reporter at KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for 14 months before joining the Green Bay CBS affiliate.

She fills the position vacated by Kaitlin Corbett, who left WFRV in late February after five years to return to the East Coast to be closer to family. The Massachusetts native now works as an anchor and reporter at WMUR-TV, an ABC affiliate in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Avenatti graduated with a degree in sports journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in December 2024. She enjoys traveling, going to concerts (she’s a Swiftie) and sporting events and trying new restaurants and coffee shops, according to her bio on the WFRV website.
