While Wisconsin’s week of floods troubled some, at least one canine enjoyed the new water features in his Kenosha yard.
An April 4 video of Kenosha resident David Schultz’s dog sprinting across his well-flooded backyard hit viral status, racking up millions of online views by April 10.
“We had a lot of rain and the backyard flooded,” Schultz told Storyful. “When I was about to let the dog out I said we should film this to see what he does.”
“Being the nut that he is he got the zoomies immediately in the middle of the flood,” he added
Kenosha County is still partially under a flood watch as of Friday, April 10. The Lower Fox River was just half a foot shy of flood stage in the morning, keeping the flood watch active until at least April 14.
The Journal Sentinel reached out to Schultz to learn more about the dog’s temporary personal pool but did not immediately receive a response.
