The postseason is well underway for spring sports, and Oshkosh, Fond du Lac athletes are having standout performances in some of the biggest moments of the season.
Here are the top prep performers from May 25 – May 31 in the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac area.
Every week, the number of top performers per sport can change, and the list just includes standout performances that deserve recognition. One more standard that is set is that there’s no more than one athlete chosen per team, per sport.

Baseball
Coy DeVries, Ripon: In a win over Two Rivers, DeVries had 14 strikeouts and didn’t allow a hit across six innings pitched.
Tanner Schneider, Mayville: Schneider went 4-for-5 with five RBIs and two home runs in a win over Marshall.
Jack Rens, Laconia: Rens went 2-for-4 with five RBIs and a home run in a win over Hustisford.
Trey Schmidt, Waupun: Schmidt went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a walk in a win over Edgewood.
Easton Haase, Oshkosh West: Haase went 1-for-3 with three RBIs and a triple in a win over Oshkosh North.
Owen Ehlke, Winnebago Lutheran: Ehlke went 3-for-6 with an RBI and a triple in a loss to Horicon.
Zach Hoffman, Central Wisconsin Christian: In a win over Wild Rose, Hoffman went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a walk. He also pitched all five innings and had eight strikeouts while allowing two hits and three runs.
Jack Brenner, Fond du Lac: Brenner went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two doubles in a win over Appleton West.
Dawson Casper, Lomira: In a win over St. Mary’s Springs, Casper went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two doubles.
Girls Soccer
Abby Mroczkowski, Lourdes Academy: Mroczkowski had two goals and an assist in a win over Campbellsport.
Sosa Hernandez, Fond du Lac: Hernandez had the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Appleton West.
Kamryn Stauffacher, Oshkosh West: In a win over Appleton East, Stauffacher had two assists.
Ella Kristmann, St. Mary’s Springs: Kristmann had two assists in a 2-0 win over Winnebago Lutheran.
Willow Schneider, Lomira: Schneider had a goal and an assist in a loss to Mayville.
Softball
Lily Schultz, Laconia: In an eight-inning, regional championship win over Ripon, Schultz had 19 strikeouts, gave up three hits and had no earned runs.
Allie Schwarz, St. Mary’s Springs: Schwarz had 16 strikeouts and give up three hits and no earned runs in an 8-3 regional championship win over Princeton/Green Lake. She also went 2-for-4 with a home run, one walk and an RBI.
Ava Martinez, Fond du Lac: In a win over West Bend West, Martinez pitched seven innings and had 13 strikeouts and allowed two hits and no earned runs.
Zella Tidemanson, Lourdes Academy: Tidemanson pitched six innings and had 13 strikeouts while allowing four hits and no earned runs in a win over Catholic Central. She also went 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI.
Colleen Fitzpatrick, Oshkosh West: Fitzpatrick went 2-for-2 with two doubles, one RBI and two walks in a win over Sheboygan North.
Grace Mitchell, Winneconne: Mitchell went 4-for-4 with two doubles and five RBIs in a win over Plymouth.
Boys Track and Field
Tyvon Pate, Fond du Lac: Pate took first in the shot put (52-10 1/2) at the Division 1, Beaver Dam sectional.
Orville Blohm, Winnebago Lutheran: Blohm had the best throw in the discus (170-3) at the Division 2, McFarland sectional.
Garrett Pickering, Campbellsport: Pickering won the 3,200 meters (9:28.00) at the Division 2, Kewaskum sectional. He will also be competing in the 1,600 meters at state.
Hudson Samolinski, Winneconne: At the Division 2, Chilton sectional, Samolinski won the shot put (57-1 1/4) and discus (177-10).
Jamare Scott, Oshkosh North: Scott won the 100 meters (10.84) at the Beaver Dam, Division 1 sectional. Scott is also a part of Oshkosh North’s 4 x 100-meter relay team and the 4 x 200-meter relay team that qualified for state.
Colden Searles, Oshkosh West: Searles was a sectional champion in the pole vault (13-0) at the Division 1, Beaver Dam sectional and will represent Oshkosh West in the pole vault in the Division 1 state meet.
Girls Track and Field
Selci Sirrell, Berlin: Sirrell won the 100-meter hurdles (14.34), 300-meter hurdles (44.85), high jump (5-5) and triple jump (37-6 1/4) at the Division 2, Chilton sectional.
Sunjaya Greenlee, North Fond du Lac: At the Division 2, McFarland sectional, Greenlee won the 100 meters (12.19), 200 meters (25.19), 400 meters (58.81) and long jump (18-4).
Sydnee Nelson, Oshkosh West: Nelson will look to win three straight Division 1 state championships in the 100-meter hurdles after picking up a sectional championship in Beaver Dam with a time of 14.26.
