The Michigan Department of Transportation plans to start a $2.9 million project on M-28 in Chippewa County on Monday, June 8.
According to MDOT, the work will take place from M-221 to I-75. The project includes shoulder widening and resurfacing the carpool lot at the I-75 interchange. Drivers can expect single-lane closures and an 11-foot width restriction during the project.
The estimated completion date is Aug. 21.
