Things to do in Green Bay this weekend: Pools open, Josh Turner concert, AllouezFest

There are plenty of annual summertime events returning this weekend, including the Summer Fun Days Showcase in Titletown.

Here are things going on around the Green Bay area this weekend.

Outdoor pools, aquatic centers open

Green Bay-area outdoor pools and aquatic centers open for the season on June 7.

Summer Fun Days Showcase

County singer Josh Turner will perform for the annual Titletown Summer Fun Days Showcase June 7. The free concert is at 8:30 p.m. on a stage in Titletown. The Summer Fun Days run from 3-10 p.m.

Heritage Festival

Heritage Hill State Historical Park, 2640 S Webster Ave., Allouez, is holding the Heritage Festival to celebrate cultural groups. There will be food, art, and music on the garden patio. Daily admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. A weekend pass is $12-$24.

The festival is 2-8 p.m. June 6, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. June 7, and noon-4 p.m. June 8.

Mastodon and Coheed and Cambria tour

Rock band Coheed and Cambria are on the Infinite Arc tour with Mastodon and will be making a stop at the Resch Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the concert is at 7 p.m. June 7.

Tickets are $48-$163.50 on Ticket Star.

AllouezFest

The Allouez Optimist Club is bringing AllouezFest back this weekend with a family picnic and car show. There will be food, free admission for spectators, games, a vendor fair, and remote control car demo. Admission is $10 on the day.

It’s at 10 a.m.-3 p.m. June 8 at Green Isle Park, 900 Greene Ave., Allouez. More information is on the Facebook event.

Uncle Mike’s Donut 5K

The annual Uncle Mike’s Donut 5K is back at 9 a.m. June 7 at Green Isle Park, Allouez. There will be live music, a bounce house for kids, and new event shirts. Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe will sell doughnuts throughout the event.

Proceeds go to the Kroc Scholarship Fund for reduced memberships and programming at the Salvation Army’s Kroc Center. Registration is $40 for adults and $30 for kids under 12 at gbkroccenter.org/en/events.

Green Bay Youth Triathlon

Register or cheer on kids in the Green Bay Youth Triathlon. The triathlon is 7:30-10 a.m. June 7 at Ashwaubomay Park, 2881 S. Broadway, Ashwaubenon.

Participants get a race shirt, medal, finish line snacks, and a raffle ticket. Registration is $20 at gbmsyouthteam.org.

Blizzard game

Green Bay Blizzard are playing the Iowa Barnstormers this weekend. The game is at 7 p.m. June 6 on dairy night. The first 1,000 fans will get a free Moov milk and take a photo with a cow.

Tickets are $13-$64 on Ticket Star.

David Yang at Levitt AMP Music Series

R&B singer David Yang headlines this week’s Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series. The concert is from 4-6:30 p.m. June 8 at Leicht Memorial Park, 128 Dousman St., Green Bay.
