Southeast Wisconsin will ring in the first official day of summer with a weekend of sweltering, extreme heat.

The Milwaukee-Sullivan National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning from noon on Saturday, June 21 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 23. Temperatures could reach highs in the mid-90s, with a heat index as high as 108 degrees, forecasters predict.
