The ReMixx is closing its doors in the coming months, marking the end of an era for the all-inclusive night club.
The club, at 8386 State 76 in Clayton, made a post on its Facebook page on July 29 announcing the news.
“We found out last week that the building we have been renting for 11 amazing years has been sold to the Town of Clayton,” the post reads. “We have been blessed with the very best employees and volunteers imaginable, all of whom helped make The ReMixx the warm and welcoming space that so many of us have called home.”
The post states that due to the purchase, the lease — which is good through September 30 — will not be renewed. The club will continue to operate with its usual hours until the end of the lease, giving the club two more months of business before its closure.
ReMixx is known for being one of the only places in the Fox Cities to consistently put on drag shows and events. The post goes on to thank its show directors and performers who have graced the stage, encouraging people to continue to keep up with the performers after the closure.
“To our customers, thank you so much for supporting us and helping to create so many cherished memories and friendships,” the post reads. “You entered our doors as guests, and you will leave as friends and family. These friendships and the feeling of community will continue long after our doors close.”
