Marshfield-area voters cast ballots in Tuesday’s spring primary in two races including for three Marshfield School Board seats and a Wood County Board seat.
Here are the results of those races. The symbol (i) denotes an incumbent.

Marshfield School Board
Three members of the nine-member Marshfield School Board reach the end of their three-year terms each year. District voters chose the top six of seven candidates to compete for three seats in the spring election. The district consists of the city of Marshfield, village of Hewitt and towns of Lincoln, Cameron, Rock, Richfield and Marshfield in Wood County and towns of McMillan and Day in Marathon County. Current board members Mark Konrardy and Tara Tremelling filed declarations of non-candidacy in the race.
The six candidates with the most votes move on to the April 7 spring election.
Candidate Mathew Samson, who did not advance in the Feb. 17 primary, is currently being held in the Wood County Jail charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 12 and multiple felony charges of child abuse and domestic abuse. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 2.
Wood County Board, District 9
Voters in District 9, or the entire village of Vesper and the town of Hansen, and portions of the city of Wisconsin Rapids, town of Seneca, and town of Sigel, chose the top two out of three candidates for County Board supervisor to appear on the spring ballot. Wood County Board members serve two-year terms and all 19 seats are up for election in 2026.
Incumbent Scott Brehm and challenger Paul Goldberg will move on to the April 7 spring election.
