OSHKOSH – A Perry Tipler Middle School student has been hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle near Oshkosh West High School after both schools were dismissed May 13.
In a letter to the families of both schools, Oshkosh Area School District said school staff responded immediately and called 911.
According to the district, the student was transported to the hospital with their family being immediately notified.
“Our thoughts are with the student and their family,” the district wrote in the letter.
OASD said student services and school counselors at both Perry Tipler and Oshkosh West will be available to speak with students trying to process the incident.
