LYNDON – One person suffered minor burns Saturday evening, June 6, in a fire involving a pole shed and boat in the Town of Lyndon, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheboygan County Emergency Communications received a 911 call at about 6:55 p.m. Saturday reporting a pole shed fire in the N4300 block of Dooley Road.
When deputies arrived, they found a boat outside the shed on fire and smoke coming from inside the building, the sheriff’s office said. The property owner had moved the boat out of the shed before deputies arrived to help keep the fire from spreading to other items inside.
Authorities said the owner had been working on the boat when it caught fire. The owner suffered minor burns but declined medical treatment from EMS. No other injuries were reported.
The shed and items inside sustained minor smoke damage, according to the sheriff’s office.
Responding agencies included the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Cascade Fire Department and Waldo Fire Department.
