The Mulva Cultural Center in De Pere will host five traveling exhibits in 2026 that span Andy Warhol to TV’s “Yellowstone” to Genghis Khan
Here’s the lineup announced July 25 on the facility’s website:
‘The Real Genghis Khan,’ Jan. 31, 2026-May 3, 2026
The largest collection of Genghis Khan-era artifacts to tour the world immerses visitors into the nomadic life of the Mongols. It features interactive activities with Mongolian costumes, bow and arrow demonstrations, Mongolian children’s games, live Mongolian music performances and the experience of walking through Kublai Khan’s Xanadu Palace.
‘Cowboys: History & Hollywood,’ June 13. 2026-Sept. 7, 2026
The 10,000-square-foot exhibit explores the real-life grit and silver screen glamour of the American cowboy. Artifacts include historic cowboy saddles and hats, an original pair of 1850s Levi’s, items from “Yellowstone,” “Gunsmoke,” “Toy Story,” John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and Ronald Reagan, and even an *NSYNC tour cowboy costume.
‘Cancer Exhibition,’ Oct. 10, 2026-Jan. 3, 2027
The interactive science exhibit, designed for adults and kids, explores the latest advancements in cancer detection, treatment and prevention.
‘An Adventure in the Arts: The Collection of the Guild Hall Museum,’ Oct. 10, 2026-Jan. 3, 2027
Pieces in the collection of 72 artworks from Guild Hall in East Hampton, New York, include “Marilyn Monroe” by Andy Warhol, “Target” by Jasper Johns, “Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner” by Hans Namuth and an untitled piece by Jackson Pollock.
‘L’Estampe orignale: A Graphic Treasure,’ Oct. 10, 2026-Jan. 3, 2027
The exhibit features the rare, hand-signed and complete portfolio of”L’Estampe originale,” published in France during the mid-1890s and regarded as one of the greatest collaborations in the history of printmaking. It includes “The Port of St. Tropez” by Paul Signac, “Tiger in the Jungle” by Paul-Elie Ranson, “Head of a Child” by Pierre-Auguste Renoir and “Landscape at Osny” by Camille Pissaro.
Admission to the Mulva Cultural Center is free, but traveling exhibits in the Exhibition Hall require a separate paid ticket. Prices for the 2026 exhibits have not been announced. Tickets for each of the 2025 exhibits to date have been $20 ages 18-59 and $10 ages 4-17.
This will be the third round of touring exhibits at the Mulva since the $100 million, 75,000-square-foot center opened in December 2023 with “Ladies and Gentlemen … The Beatles!” and “And the Grammy Goes To …” “Unofficial Galaxies,” one of the largest private collections of “Star Wars” memorabilia in the world, was a highlight of the current 2025 season when it opened in January.
“Explore Your World” and “Top Secret: License to Spy” are currently on display through Sept. 7.
