A bakery ingredient company missed payments on its multi-year season ticket package for Milwaukee Bucks games and other events and needs to pay $260,000, the team alleges in a lawsuit.
A complaint filed June 26 in Milwaukee County Circuit Court alleges that Lesaffre Yeast Corp. signed a contract in February 2025 for a multi-year loge table season membership at Fiserv Forum.
The membership included seats for all Bucks home games and other events.
Attorneys for the Bucks claim in the lawsuit that Milwaukee-based Lesaffre Yeast, the global baking-ingredients parent company of the Red Star Yeast brand, fell behind on its membership payments.
Attempts reach a company spokesperson were unsuccessful.
What’s being alleged in the lawsuit?
The agreement was for Lesaffre to pay $6,727.28 a month in 2025-26, the first year of its membership fee. Those payments were to increase in the following years to $7,554.50 monthly during the 2028-29 season.
Attorneys for the Bucks allege in the complaint Lesaffre Yeast paid $63,588 for its 2025-’26 NBA season package and has a balance due of $10,412. The team considers that as a default on the membership contract.
The overall annual payment for the season was to have been $74,000.
According to the complaint, annual payments for upcoming future seasons are $79,180 for 2026-’27; $84,723 for 2027-’28; and $90,654 for 2028-’29.
The team alleges in its lawsuit it is entitled to recover the entire $264,969 balance Lesaffre owes through the 2028-’29 NBA season because of the default.
“Despite demands for payment, defendant refuses or neglects to pay plaintiff,” the lawsuit reads.
According to the arena’s website, loge table seats are on the perimeter of Fiserv Forum’s main concourse. The membership package Lesaffre Yeast signed up for includes four seats for each loge table, VIP entry to the arena and a premium parking pass.
