Milwaukee area home sales include $3 million River Hills mansion

Home sales and listings are up in the Milwaukee area this spring.

Sales in the four-county Milwaukee metro rose 11.2% in March while listings jumped 14.9%, according to the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors’ most recent report. Metro area listings are up 11.8% in the first quarter of 2026.

In March, Milwaukee County home sales increased 7.5% and listings 10.2%, according to the report.

Here’s a look at Milwaukee County’s most expensive recent home sales, according to Milwaukee Metro Multiple Listing Service data:

River Hills mansion sells for $3.75 million

A 21,000-square-foot River Hills mansion on the Milwaukee River sold for $3.75 million on April 9.

The six-bedroom, 9.5-bedroom home was built in 1994 on North River Road, according to the listing from Tina Strasser with RE/MAX Forward. The property spans 6.77 acres with more than 200 feet of Milwaukee River frontage.

The mansion includes an indoor in-ground swimming pool, sauna room and fitness and entertainment space, the listing says. The property also features a private pond and heated four-car garage.

Wauwatosa home sells for $805,000

A 2,900-square foot Tosa home sold for $805,000 on April 9.

The home, built in 1936, has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, according to the listing from JML Realty Group with Realty Executives Integrity Brookfield. It sits on a 0.18-acre lot on North 88th Street.

The home features leaded windows, hardwood floors and a natural fireplace. More recent updates include quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and a new roof, the listing says.

Oak Creek home sells for $730,000

A lakefront Oak Creek home sold for $730,000 on April 8.

The home was built in 2003 on 0.37 acres along South George Drive, according to the listing from Daniel Kroll with @properties. It spans 3,800 square feet with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The property includes 33 feet of sandy beachfront as well as a deck and newly built fire pit. Recent updates also include new landscaping, remodeled kitchen and insulated vinyl siding, according to the listing.

Whitefish Bay home sells for $700,000

A 100-year-old bungalow on North Larkin Street in Whitefish Bay sold for $700,000 on April 10.

The home spans 1,800 feet with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, according to the listing from HIGHMARK Real Estate of Keller Williams Realty. It was built in 1926 on a 0.13-acre lot.

The newly remodeled home features extended closet space, a herringbone patio and a fenced backyard, the listing says. It also has a detached two-car garage.
