FOND DU LAC – Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corp., has been named one of Forbes’ America’s Best Employers by State 2026 in Wisconsin.
Mercury Marine recognized among Wisconsin employers
When filtered by state, the list places parent company Brunswick at No. 12 in Wisconsin out of 75 employers.
Mercury Marine is Brunswick’s largest manufacturing operation in Wisconsin and a global leader in marine propulsion, employing thousands of people across engineering, manufacturing, technology and business functions, according to a Mercury Marine news release.
How Forbes ranked the companies
Forbes, a national business magazine and media company, partners with market research firm Statista for the rankings, curating the list from an independent survey of more than 245,000 U.S. employees working for organizations with at least 500 employees.
Employee feedback assessed wages and benefits, management style, company reputation, flexibility and career advancement opportunities.
Companies do not pay to participate or be selected.
Mercury Marine says recognition reflects its workforce
“Being recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best-In-State Employers is an honor that reinforces the culture we’ve worked hard to build,” Mercury Marine President John Buelow said in the release. “Our team members are at the heart of everything we do, and this recognition reflects the passion and commitment they bring to serving our customers and advancing our industry.”
Mercury Marine said the recognition follows years of investment in its workforce, manufacturing capabilities and innovations to support customers around the world.
