Marquette will again host the Big East volleyball championship

The Marquette volleyball team will once again host the Big East championships this season, the league announced June 18.

The matches will take place at the Al McGuire Center on Nov. 22 and 23.

This is the ninth time the Golden Eagles will be the hosts. Since 2011, the tournament has been at MU or Creighton, with the exception of 2016 when it was at Butler’s Hinkle Fieldhouse.

MU reached the Sweet 16 last season, but head coach Ryan Theis jumped to Florida in February. The Golden Eagles hired Tom Mendoza from South Carolina in March.
