MANITOWOC – Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center opened for the season June 7.
The center, 940 N. 18th St., will have open swim from noon to 6 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays-Sundays through Aug. 17.
Children 10 and younger must be accompanied by someone 15 years old or older at the pool.
The Aquatic Center features a heated pool, various spray features, two water slides, a diving board, lazy river and a sand play area. There’s also an 18-hole mini golf course, snack bar and more.

What does admission cost?
General admission is $6. A military discount of $1 is offered with valid military ID. Groups of 20 or more are $5 per person.
Punch cards and season memberships can be ordered by calling 920-686-3060 or by visiting the Manitowoc Parks and Recreation Department office, 3330 Custer St.
Season memberships are $50 per person for the pool only; $50 per person for mini golf only; or $75 per person for both the pool and mini golf.

A “Special Needs Splash Time” will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on both June 28 and July 26. Admission is free.
Lap swim is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Tot time is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Water fitness classes are from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Mondays; 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays; and 6:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays. Admission is $4 per class, or via punch card or membership pass.
Don’t forget mini golf.
The Aquatic Center’s mini golf course will be open the following hours throughout the season:
Mini golf admission is $6 for 18 holes or $8 for 36 holes.
League play is June 15 to Aug. 9 for a fee of $35. Leagues are available for all ages, and sign-up is through the Parks and Recreation Office.
