One person is injured and another in custody after an early morning shooting on Saturday, June 20 near the Oneida Casino, according to a news release from the Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department.
At about 2 a.m., police responded to an incident at 2020 Airport Drive that a male was shot. Initial reports said the victim was shot in the back and the suspect fled in a vehicle, according to the release.
Police arrested the suspect after locating the fleeing vehicle on State 172 near County GV.
The victim was treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries, police said, adding that the victim is a family member of the suspect.
Police are investigating and said additional charges may be added.
