Four Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey players have been invited to the Madison Capitols playoff game on Friday, May 8.
Finn Brink, Ben Dexheimer, Jack Horbach, and Kyle Kukkonen will participate in the ceremonial puck drop prior to the Capitols’ third game against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
Madison, who is in the Eastern Conference finals, is inviting four of the players who just advanced to the National Championship game with the Badgers.
During Wisconsin’s historic 2025-26 season, Brink scored 13 points in 27 games, Dexheimer scored 28 in 39, Horbach scored eight in 39, and Kukkonen scored six in 26.
Of those four, Brink is the lone underclassman. The former Capitols’ skater tallied 43 points in 57 games during his time with Madison’s USHL team.
It should be noted that the Capitols’ best-of-five series is currently tied 1-1. Madison took game one in Muskegon, 2-1, before dropping the second, 5-3. The series is guaranteed to go at least four games, with the fourth being set to take place at Bob Suter’s LEGACY20 Arena on Saturday, May 9.
