A new Mediterranean-style food restaurant is opening in Green Bay.
Gyro Guyz, 1981 E. Mason St., Suite 105, will open as its second location in Wisconsin. The first restaurant opened March 1, 2025, in Madison. Omar Zaidan, the owner, said the restaurant will be inspected on April 1. He aims to open to the public on April 4.
Zaidan said he grew up in the Fox Valley area and Green Bay is a great city. He saw an opportunity to open a location and took it.
“We always had our eyes set on Green Bay and had been looking to expand to other parts of the state,” he said.
The restaurant offers quick service and a casual setting. The menu offers a mix of gyros sandwiches, falafels and bowls, with sides like Greek fries, salads and more.
Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Sunday.
