Looking for a trail? These are rated the best in the Milwaukee area

The weather keeps warming up in Milwaukee and sunny skies are in our future.  

The Milwaukee Brewers, Summerfest and the RiverWalk might jump to the top of summer plans, but don’t forget about the county’s trail system.

In addition to the 135-mile Oak Leaf Trail, which had 566,134 visitors on the Milwaukee River Line section near the Brady Street bridge, Milwaukee County Parks have numerous trails, both paved and more natural.  

All told, the Milwaukee area has 47 trails, according to AllTrails.com. These are the most popular:
