MADISON – Kamala Harris will bring her book tour to Madison next year, promoting her account of the whirlwind 2024 presidential election and her loss to Donald Trump.
Harris will appear at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Madison at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 1.
The event is being held in partnership with local bookstore A Room of One’s Own.
The visit is one of 18 appearances Harris will make across the U.S. this spring, following her 17-stop fall 2025 tour.
The former Democratic nominee for president stepped into the race after Joe Biden dropped out, after facing pressure and scrutiny regarding his age and mental faculties.
But her run, limited to 107 days, was not without controversy, which is detailed in her book, aptly named “107 Days.”
Harris shares details about her relationship with Biden, her regrets regarding the campaign and goes as far as to criticize her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, according to USA Today.
She also aims at Trump and Vice President JD Vance, criticizing everything from their stance on immigration to military service.
The last time Harris visited Madison — where she lived from the ages of 3 to 5 — was Oct. 30, 2024, during a star-studded rally featuring live performances from Mumford & Sons and Gracie Abrams.
Tickets for the March 1 event go on sale Dec. 11, and can be purchased through the Orpheum’s website. Tickets for a meet-and-greet before the event can also be purchased.
