The city and county of Milwaukee are taxing property owners to the point that many are fleeing the city. It is time to put a cap on how much hard-earned money the city and county can take from property owners. There will come a point if a cap is not put in place that many property owners will have to default in payment to to the lack of funds.
Property owners are not the sole source of tax income for the city and county. It’s time for both to look at different means to fill the city and county coffers that effect the property owners.
