Who gets dumped from Love Island USA
Beatriz Hatz was dumped from “Love Island USA,” the second islander to depart the villa.
Hatz, a Paralympian who won a bronze medal in long jump at the 2024 Paralympic Games, had been in a couple with Gabriel Vasconcelos for several days.
But she became single following the fan vote that paired Vasconcelos with one of the newest bombshells, Jen Terry. And when newly single islander, Corbin Mims chose other single islander Melanie Moreno, to be in a couple, that left Hatz without a partner and dumped from season 8 after 10 days.
Hatz, part of the original cast on Day 1, was initially paired with police officer Sean Rhea. But on Day 2 she left the couple to explore with bombshell Vasconcelos, who selected Hatz in the bombshell steal. In recent days Vasconcelos had been kissing around as he explored other connections.
Nonetheless, Vasconcelos’ apparently was stronger than viewers saw as he crushed when Hatz left and the two had an tearful goodbye.
Here are some of Hatz’s top moments from the villa:
What is After Sun Love Island USA?
“After Sun” is the weekly talk show for “Love Island USA.” It’s in its second year. The show features special guests and the islanders who were most recently dumped from the villa where they’ll share all the tea.
Ciara Miller, of “Summer House,” and internet personality Tefi Pessoa are making their debuts as co-hosts of the show on June 13.
The two made a special appearance in the villa during the pie-in-the-face challenge in episode 9 that aired on Friday, June 12.
Love Island USA season 8 voting
The first voting of “Love Island USA” season 8 led to the second dumping.
Fans voted on who they wanted each of the three new bombshells to be paired with. That resulted in three couples changing, putting Jenn with Gabriel, Sol with Sincere and Caleb with Kenzie. That left Beatriz, Melanie and Corbin suddenly single.
Corbin then had the decision to partner with either Melanie or Beatriz. The girl he didn’t choose would be dumped from the villa.
He chose Melanie, someone he had been growing closer to in recent days, leading to Beatriz’s tearful exit.
