The Green Bay Police Department is searching for a carjacker who stole a Prevea Health shuttle van from HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, 1726 Shawano Ave.
Here’s what to know:
When was the van stolen?
Officers were dispatched to the hospital at 7:40 a.m. July 8 for a Prevea Health employee who told police that while he was working, a woman with a large knife ordered him to exit the vehicle. No injuries were reported from the carjacking.
Who is the carjacking suspect?
Police are looking for Jerilyn Soto, a 46-year-old woman from Keshena. Soto is considered armed and dangerous and is believed to have driven the van outside of the Green Bay area, police said
What is the vehicle description?
The van is a 2022 dark gray Chrysler Pacifica with Wisconsin license plate No. 35729AFT. It also has a triangular topper that says “Prevea Health Patient Shuttle” and the phone number of 615-0985.
What can the public do to help?
Police are asking anyone who sees the van to call 911 immediately and to not approach it. According to Green Bay Police, other agencies are assisting with finding Soto and the vehicle.
