Green Bay Packers training camp schedule for Friday, July 25. Here is what you need to know

The Green Bay Packers will hold their third practice of the week on the morning of July 25, followed by the shareholders meeting in the afternoon.

Here is what you need to know about practice.

When do the Green Bay Packers’ practice July 25?

It’s at 10:30 a.m. at Ray Nitschke Field, 831 Armed Forces Drive, Ashwaubenon. The practices generally last about two hours. It will be the third of 14 free practices and one paid practice — Family Night.

Ray Nitschke Field has bleachers with a capacity of 1,500. Fans also gather outside the fences in the north and south end zones.

The open practices are subject to weather conditions. If severe weather moves in, practices could be moved inside the Don Hutson Center, in which case they will not be open to the public.

Where can I park for training camp?

Parking in the Lambeau Field lots is free.

What if I want a player to ride my bike?

Players need to be on the practice field at 10:30 a.m., so if a fan wants a player to ride their bicycle over to the field, get there early.

What’s the weather forecast for Green Bay on July 25?

The forecast calls for mostly sunny with a high near 83 and a heat index of 86, according to the National Weather Service Green Bay.

What is the nonprofit of the day on July 25?

The nonprofit of the day is House of Hope Green Bay, which provides emergency shelter and housing programs for youth and young parents.

House of Hope will be set up at 9 a.m. in the parking lot to the east of Ray Nitschke Field, between gates 1 and 2.This is the third year of the program that lets nonprofits share information about the services they provide.

Green Bay declares July 25 Mark Murphy Day

In honor of Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy, the city of Green Bay has proclaimed July 25 as Mark Murphy Day. It marks Murphy’s last day in that position as he retires after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 70 and more than 17 years at the helm.

Murphy will receive a key to the city and the downtown Green Bay bridges will be lit in green and gold on July 25.

“First and foremost, Mark has been a truly decent, humble, and thoughtful leader of the Green Bay Packers,” Mayor Eric Genrich said in a news release. “He’s guided our beloved franchise throughout his tenure with winning football as his priority and demonstrated care and appreciation for the people who make up the team’s fanbase and the Green Bay community.”

Where can you eat after Packers training camp practice?

If you’re looking for something to eat, there are many options near Lambeau Field. There are also some restaurants that have a Packers connection.

You can find options in the Lambeau Field Atrium or the Titletown district, including the Johnsonville Tailgate Village, in the parking lot on the east side of Lambeau. 

Food trucks will set up from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. daily in the blue lot east of Ray Nitschke Field.

If you may want to cool off after practice, here is a list of splash pads, pools and swimming areas in the Green Bay area.

What is the Packers’ training camp schedule?

After the July 25 practice, there will be a shareholders meeting. The next public practice will be July 27.

Packers unveil throwback uniforms

The Packers on July 24 unveiled their throwback uniforms that they’ll wear for one game at Lambeau Field this year.

The uniform and helmet were inspired by the ones in 1923, the first year the team was publicly owned.

The jerseys are navy blue with dark gold numbers, stripes and pants and a hand-painted helmet the recalls the leather helmets of that era.
