For the third straight year, the Green Bay Packers had the youngest roster in the NFL (at least, by the initial round of cutdowns to 53-man rosters), and given that the past two seasons ended in the postseason, that seems like an appealing strategy. Reigning Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia is next on the list, after all.
Let’s take a gander at the roster as it stands. Who’s oldest? Who’s youngest? What other nuggets can we find on the official roster?
Who’s the oldest player on the Green Bay Packers roster?
The oldest players on the roster are kicker Brandon McManus and long snapper Matt Orzech, who both just re-upped with the Packers for long-term deals in the offseason. They’re the only two players on this roster already 30 years old or older.
The long-running line about the star defender Clark is how young he is, drafted at just 20 and now on his third NFL contract while still in his prime. But he has risen up the ranks and is the third-oldest player on this team.
Who’s the youngest player on the Green Bay Packers roster?
Packers slot corner/safety Javon Bullard was the youngest player on the roster in 2024 and … well, he’s still third on the list. The team’s first-round draft pick Matthew Golden takes the cake as the youngest player on the roster, but players like Bullard and Edgerrin Cooper still are at the low end of the age spectrum.

When you consider Anthony Belton is also 336 pounds, it’s no wonder he had the nickname “Big Escalade” in college. John FitzPatrick and Luke Musgrave are two of the four tight ends kept on the initial 53.

Rasheed Walker was No. 2 on the list last year behind T.J. Slaton, so there’s a little more beef on the roster than there used to be.
Shortest Green Bay Packers players
MarShawn Lloyd, who’s starting the season injured, is 5-foot-9 and was last year’s shortest player on the initial 53-man roster.

This list features the same top three as last year (though Bo Melton has changed positions).
