Notre Dame 5, West De Pere 4

GREEN BAY – Ty Bumgardner hit a two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Tritons to the victory over the Phantoms.

Tripp Wroblewski and Jacob Reineking led Notre Dame with three and two hits, respectively.

Brennen Frelich pitched the last 1⅓ innings in relief of Drew Magnuson to get the win. Magnuson pitched 5⅔ innings and struck out eight batters.

De Pere 17, Sheboygan North 3

SHEBOYGAN – Colton Setzer and Fisher Anderson both had three hits in the Redbirds’ win over the Golden Raiders.

Setzer, Anderson and Rory Obma each drove in two runs for De Pere.

Charles Buysse pitched five innings for De Pere, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six to get the win.

Brett Rybarczyk and Blake Becker both had two hits for Sheboygan North. Becker hit a two-run home run in the third inning.

Manitowoc Lincoln 17, Green Bay Southwest 4

GREEN BAY – The Ships broke open the game with the Trojans early, scoring 10 runs in the second inning en route to the five-inning win.

Green Bay Southwest finished with seven hits and scored its four runs in the fifth inning.

Gabe Eichmann had four hits and five RBIs for Manitowoc, which had 21 hits. Caden Baudhuin had three hits and four RBIs. Cade Grapentine and Nick Braun each had three hits, while Benson Dickrell had two hits.

Turner Sorenson started, pitched the first two innings and got the win for Manitowoc.

Pulaski 9, Ashwaubenon 0

ASHWAUBENON – The Red Raiders scored five times in the second inning and two runs in both the third and fourth innings in their win over the Jaguars.

Braun Wotruba had three hits and two RBIs for Pulaski. Gavin Sikorski had two hits and two RBIs. Eddie Van Roy had two hits and Eli Heuser drove in two runs.

Caden Blaszcyk and Anthony Mosher both had doubles for Ashwaubenon.

Wotruba pitched the first five innings for Pulaski, shutting out Ashwaubenon on three hits and three walks while striking out five.

Kingston Vang started and took the loss for Ashwaubenon.

Bay Port 8, Green Bay Preble 0

GREEN BAY – Searin Mueller and Parker Broehm limited the Hornets to three hits in the Pirates’ win.

Mueller pitched six innings and allowed two hits and two walks while striking out 10 for Bay Port. Broehm allowed a hit and two walks while striking out two in his inning of work.

Eli Hart had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs for Bay Port. Cayden Heier had two hits with a double and two RBIs. Artie Adams had two hits and a double as well.

Marco Aregoni had two of Green Bay Preble’s three hits.

Dallas Rady allowed five runs in four innings and took the loss for Green Bay Preble.

Menasha 20, Green Bay East/West 4

GREEN BAY – The Bluejays scored seven runs in the second inning and seven in the seventh in their win over the Red Devils.

Menasha had 11 hits and took advantage of 10 walks by Green Bay East/West pitchers.

Green Bay East/West had seven hits, with Levi Meister collecting two hits.

Denmark 2, Luxemburg-Casco 1

LUXEMBURG – The Vikings scored two runs in the seventh inning to rally for the win over the Spartans.

David Dittmer drove in both runs for Denmark.

Cade Delarwelle pitched the first five innings for Denmark. He gave up one hit and walked three while striking out eight.

Cade Kersten pitched the final two innings, allowed a run on a hit and two walks and got the win.

Noah Chervenka pitched 6⅓ innings and was tagged with the loss for Luxemburg-Casco.

Marinette 12, Wrightstown 4

MARINETTE – The Marines, who led 4-3 after three innings, scored eight runs in the final three innings to defeat the Tigers.

Chase MacGregor drove in three runs for Marinette. Wyatt Stauss had three hits, while Miles Rutherford had two hits.

Ryan Leahy had a double and two RBIs for Wrightstown.

Cooper Smith pitched a complete game to get the win for Marinette.

Theo Van Rossum took the loss for Wrightstown.

Freedom 11, Oconto Falls 5

FREEDOM – The Irish picked up their first North Eastern Conference win of the season and improved to 4-12 overall with the victory over the Panthers.

Freedom scored three runs in the third inning, four in the fourth and four in the sixth.

Corey Mathison pitched six innings of one-hit ball for the win. He allowed four runs (all unearned), walked five and struck out five.

Elijah Shepard had three hits, scored three runs and had three RBIs for Freedom. Carlton Romitti had three hits and three RBIs, and Carson Peters had two hits and two RBIs. Quinn Brennenstuhl, Luke Schmidt and Ryan Heran also had two hits apiece.

Teagan Tate had two RBIs for Oconto Falls.

Winneconne 5, Seymour 3

SEYMOUR – The Wolves scored twice in the ninth inning to defeat the Thunder in a Bay Conference matchup.

Noah Bouras, Aaron Zimmer and Ethan Duel each had two hits for Winneconne, while Logan Binder and Jesse Michaud both drove in two runs.

Carson Staffeldt had three hits for Seymour. Kobe Barth had two hits.

Zimmer pitched the final five innings for Winneconne, allowing one run on two hits and one walk. He struck out three.

Romy Oskey pitched the final five innings for Seymour and allowed two unearned runs on five hits and one walk. He struck out five.

Crivitz 3, Niagara 1

NIAGARA – Colton Arpke limited the Badgers to one run on three hits and one walk in pitching the Wolverines to the win.

Arpke, who allowed a run in the first inning, struck out 11 batters for Crivitz.

Arpke also had three hits and drove in two runs for Crivitz. Jackson Schramm had two hits, including a double, and scored twice.

Remington Buchanan started and took the loss for Niagara. He allowed three runs (one earned) in six innings.

Coleman 12, Gillett 1

GILLETT – The Cougars scored four runs in the first inning and went on to defeat the Tigers.

Gavin Pusick, Wyatt Bieber and Miles Lewis each had two hits for Coleman. Alex Meyer, Thomas Rhode and Chadd Gruber each drove in two runs.

Meyer pitched the first two innings and got the win for Coleman.

Amherst 8, Menominee Nation 1

AMHERST – Michael Glodowski, Logan Hintz and Sully Perkins each had two hits to lead the Falcons to the win over the Eagles.

CJ Pyawasay had two hits for Menominee Nation.

Seymour Invitational

BOYS

The Polar Bears had one first-place finish, three second-place finishes and three third-place finishes in individual events. They also won the 800-meter relay and had a second-place finish in the 3,200 relay and third-place finishes in the 400- and 1,600-meter relays.

Abram Daniels won the high jump for Hortonville at a height of 6-0.

Colton Peters won the hurdles events, taking the 110-meter hurdles with a time of :14.81 and the 300 hurdles with a time of :41.05. Hunter DeHart picked up a pair of first-place finishes, winning the shot put and discus with a put of 60-5 and a throw of 160-2, respectively.

Menasha’s Marquell Brown had a pair of first-place finishes, winning the triple jump with a jump of 43-7 and the 200-meter dash with a time of :23.02.

Hortonville got first-place finishes from Alena Lewis in the pole vault at a height of 10-0, Abby Van Ornum in the discus with a throw of 106-11, Jayla Rades in the 100-meter dash with a time of :12.58 and Hannah Huza in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:25.64. Hortonville also won the 3,200-meter relay with a time of 11:03.60.

Denmark swept the four relay events and had four individual first-place finishes to take first in the meet.

Ella Denor won the 100- and 200-meter dashes for Denmark with times of :12.17 and :25.86, respectively. Ella Ovsak won the 400 with a time of 1:05.97. Addison Kane was Denmark’s final individual champion, winning the long jump with a jump of 15-10.

Chilton’s Erica Davis won the shot put with a toss of 33-5.5 and the discus with a throw of 117-0. Maddie Mertz won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles with times of :16.65 and :49.64, respectively.

Wrightstown’s Katerina Hruska won the high jump at a height of 5-0 and the triple jump with a jump of 34-0.

BOYS

Marinette’s Mason Hofherr won the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of :11.12 and :22.21, respectively.

Kewaunee’s Mitchell Boeder won the shot put with a toss of 48-10.25 and the discus with a throw of 168-0.

Oconto Falls’ Brady Bursa won the long jump and triple jump with jumps of 22-6.5 and 40-7.5, respectively.

Suring’s Aliya Cox had quite the meet, winning four individual events.

Cox swept the hurdles, winning the 100-meter event with a time of :16.51 and the 300 hurdles with a time of :48.34. She also won the long and triple jumps with jumps of 15-10 and 33-8, respectively.

Kewaunee’s Hannah Miller won the 400 with a time of :58.64 and the 800 with a time of 2:18.25.

Athena Powers of Peshtigo was victorious in the shot put and discus with a shot put toss of 37-6.75 and a discus throw of 105-9.

Two Rivers Triangular

BOYS

LUXEMBURG-CASCO 89, TWO RIVERS 63, VALDERS 30

Luxemburg-Casco won nine individual events and one relay event in winning the boys meet.

Ezra Treml had a pair of victories for Luxemburg-Casco. He won the 800-meter and 1,600-meter runs with times of 2:13.70 and 4:54.90, respectively.

GIRLS

LUXEMBURG-CASCO 82, TWO RIVERS 54.5, VALDERS 43.5

Luxemburg-Casco won five individual events and two relay events.

Ana Wolfert won the long and triple jumps for Luxemburg-Casco with jumps of 15-0 and 34-3, respectively. She also won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of :17.60.

SOFTBALL

West De Pere 10-12, Manitowoc Lincoln 1-7

DE PERE – The Phantoms took charge with a six-run third inning in the opener and then withstood a late charge in Game 2 en route to the Fox River Classic Conference doubleheader sweep.

In the opener, West De Pere added to the six-run lead by scoring two more runs in the fourth and sixth innings.

Manitowoc scored its lone run in the fourth.

Allison Seidl was 2-for-3 with a homer to lead the Ships.

In the nightcap, West De Pere took an early 3-0 lead in the first. After Manitowoc scored once in the fourth, the Phantoms answered with three in the fifth and two in the sixth. The Ships, however, made it 8-6 after six. West De Pere scored four in the top of the seventh and then held on from there.

Leading Manitowoc were Anya Hall, Sam Raymaker, Jordin Popp and Taylor Peterson, all with two hits.

D.C. Everest 8, Bay Port 7

SUAMICO – The Evergreens rallied from an early five-run deficit to earn the nonconference victory.

Bay Port led 5-0 after one and 7-2 after two before D.C. Everest scored three in the third and three in the fourth.

Ava Hahn, Mara Meverden, Piper Schulz and Madelyn Hoppe had two hits each for the Evergreens.

Sheboygan North 7, Green Bay Southwest 4

SHEBOYGAN – Paige Oehldrich was 3-for-3 with an RBI, while Ava Brashaw was 2-for-3 with an RBI as the Golden Raiders held off the Trojans in Fox River Classic Conference play.

The Red Raiders scored three runs in the second, two in the fifth and two in the sixth.

Southwest scored one run in the fourth and three in the sixth.

Leading the Trojans were Amy Lopez-Mejia and Elizabeth Boughton, each with an RBI.

Seymour 2, Fox Valley Lutheran 1

SEYMOUR – The Thunder plated two runs in the first and made it stand up en route to the Bay Conference victory.

Kendra Rettler had the hot bat for Seymour, going 3-for-4 with a homer and one RBI. Alexis Corn also drove in one run.

Rettler earned the win in the circle, going seven innings and allowing six hits and one earned run while walking zero and striking out eight.

Fox Valley Lutheran scored its lone run in the third.

Denmark 5, Luxemburg-Casco 4

LUXEMBURG – Maggie Frank was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs as the Vikings held off the Spartans in North Eastern Conference action.

Luxemburg-Casco opened the scoring with one run in the second, but Denmark grabbed a 3-1 edge in the top of the third. The Spartans answered with two in the bottom of the inning. The Vikings then scored two in the fourth before Luxemburg-Casco closed out the scoring with a single run in the bottom half of the frame.

Alayna Deprez was 2-for-2 with an RBI to lead the Spartans, while Stella Schleis added a double.

Wrightstown 8, Marinette 3

WRIGHTSTOWN – The Tigers erased an early two-run deficit en route to the North Eastern Conference win.

Marinette led 2-0 after one, but Wrightstown answered with two in the second and four in the third. The Marines closed to within 6-3 after four, but the Tigers closed out the scoring with two in the sixth.

Molly Ruebl led Wrightstown, going 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs.

Sophia Garcia earned the win in the circle, pitching seven innings and allowing 10 hits, three earned runs and three walks while striking out three.

Barrett Cole was 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, while Bella Koenigs was 2-for-2 for Marinette.

Clintonville 20, Oconto Falls 13

OCONTO FALLS – The Truckers scored 10 times in the top of the seventh to rally for the North Eastern Conference win.

Payton Johnson was 4-for-5 with a double, while Abby Tate was 3-for-3 with a double and home run to help power Clintonville. Morgan Retzlaff, Claire Papendorf, Lil Reindl and Caitlyn Prue had two hits each for the Truckers. One of Retzlaff’s hits was a triple, while Papendorf and Prue had two doubles each.

After both teams scored two in the first, the Panthers grabbed a 7-2 lead after two. Clintonville closed to within 8-4 after three and 9-6 after four. Both teams scored four times in the fifth, setting up the Truckers’ big comeback.

Coleman 15, Gillett 2

GILLETT – Alyssa Kurth had the hot bat, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs as the Cougars cruised past the Tigers in a Marinette & Oconto Conference matchup.

Paige Tuell had two hits for Coleman.

Ava Rhode earned the win in the circle, pitching five innings and allowing four hits, two earned runs and two walks with two strikeouts.

The Cougars scored four in the first, three in the second, five in the fourth and three in the fifth.

Gillett scored one in the first and one in the third.

Crivitz 6, Niagara 0

NIAGARA – Taryn Tracy shut out the Badgers on three hits in Marinette & Oconto Conference action.

Tracy pitched seven innings, walking just two batters while striking out 11.

Izzy Wesoloski was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, while Marli Meyers was 2-for-4 with a double and Halli Dorschner 2-for-3 with a double.

Grace Payette tripled for Niagara.

Amherst 15, Menominee Nation 0

AMHERST – Allison Lassa was 3-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Falcons to the Central Wisconsin Conference win.

Amherst scored four runs in the first, five in the second, four in the third and two in the fourth.

Also leading the Falcons were Calee Schulist, Aubrey Chandler and Presley Voss, all with two hits.

Sam Nooyen picked up the win in the circle, pitching four innings, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out seven.

Taylesia Pamonicutt had the Eagles’ lone hit.

Wausaukee 13, Bowler 3

WAUSAUKEE – The Rangers scored four runs in the third inning and seven in the fourth to break a 2-2 tie en route to the nonconference win.

Josie Seehawer helped lead the Wausaukee attack, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, while Morgan Verhagen was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Coreen Schroeder was 2-for-3 with three runs scored.

Keaghan Stumbris picked up the win in the circle, pitching five innings and allowing five hits, three runs (one earned) with one walk and eight strikeouts.

Bonduel 15, Weyauwega-Fremont 0

BONDUEL – The Bears scored 15 first-inning runs en route to the Central Wisconsin Conference win.

Jalyn Loehrke, Meredith Kiedrowski and Riley Wilbur each had hits for the Warhawks.

GIRLS SOCCER

Luxemburg-Casco 1, Waupaca 1

LUXEMBURG – The Spartans got a goal in the first half from Emi Kuhn with the Comets knotting the game with a goal in the second half.

Kilee Barbiaux had an assist on Kuhn’s goal for Luxemburg-Casco.

Olivia Kneer scored the game-tying goal on a direct free kick in the 73rd minute.

Teagan Gunderson had two saves for Luxemburg-Casco.

Jennah Haesig had seven saves for Waupaca.

Bay Port 2, Pulaski 0

SUAMICO – The Pirates won for the fifth time in their last seven matches with the win over the Red Raiders.

Pulaski has now dropped three of its last four matches.

Ashwaubenon 5, Green Bay Southwest 0

GREEN BAY – Lily Paprocki and Jayla Brunhoefer both had two goals in the Jaguars’ win over the Trojans.

Abigail Homa had Ashwaubenon’s other goal.

Briley Pogrant had two assists, while Leah Young, Malaiya Moore and Paprocki each had one assist for Ashwaubenon.

Sawyer Overly was in goal for the first 70 minutes and had two saves. Josie Stroud had zero saves over the final 10 minutes for Ashwaubenon.

Sturgeon Bay 2, Sevastopol/Gibraltar 1

STURGEON BAY – Jericha Reynolds had two goals in the Clippers’ win over the Pioneers.

Prudence Goettelman was in goal for Sturgeon Bay and allowed Sevastopol’s only goal.
