Want to see more of the sites you love? Google’s got you covered.
Earlier this month, Google launched “preferred sources,” a new feature that “lets you customize your experience to see more from your favorite sites within Top Stories.”
According to Google, “you can select your favorite sources and stay up to date on the latest content from the sites you follow and subscribe to — whether that’s your favorite sports blog or a local news outlet.”
Here’s how to add the Herald Times Reporter to your “preferred sources.”
Google’s ‘preferred sources’ feature explained
Launched Aug. 12, the feature allows you to filter your news experience by source preference.
Any time you run a query, or a keyword through the search engine, using the HTR as your preferred source, you’ll see the latest content on that topic from the Herald Times Reporter. (The same goes for any other news site.)
According to Google, you can add or change your preferred sources any time.
“When you select your preferred sources, you’ll start to see more of their articles prominently displayed within Top Stories, when those sources have published fresh and relevant content for your search,” Google said.
