For some, the cost of school supplies is looking more daunting every day. If that’s you, don’t worry: The Green Bay One Stop School Shop might be able to help.
Online registration closes Friday, June 27, for One Stop School Shop, which provides backpacks and school supplies for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. Registration will close earlier if capacity is reached. The event, which is put on by the Green Bay Salvation Army and Service League, will take place Aug. 7 at UWGB’s Kress Events Center, 2358 Leon Bond Drive, Green Bay.
Registration requires a full name and address, email and phone number. Questions can be directed to the Salvation Army’s front office, 920-497-7053. The form is also available in Spanish. Proof of income is not required, and there aren’t specific income guidelines.
The program relies on donor support. Those interested can purchase from online wish lists on Walmart, Amazon or Roonga, or can make a financial donation on the Salvation Army’s website.
