Here’s what to know about the first-time event, which is billed as “family friendly.”

What are the hours?

Tattoo Fest Green Bay runs from noon to 10 p.m. June 20, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 21 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 22.

How much to get in?

Tickets are $27.50 per day or $60 for a weekend pass when you buy in advance with early bird pricing at greenbaytattoofestival.com. Day-of passes will also be available at the door.

What’s all happening at Tattoo Fest Green Bay?

More than 140 tattoo artists from around the world will be at the event showing off their work and tattooing live. There will be contests across more than 20 categories for both healed tattoos and fresh ones done at the event. Among the categories are arm and leg sleeves, back pieces, full fronts, pop culture, black and gray and a daily Tattoo of the Day.

The festival also hosts the Worst Tattoo Competition at 5 p.m. June 21. Attendees who have a really bad tattoo or one they regret can put it out there in hopes of winning a free tattoo removal package by Removery. The competition is free to enter.

Vendors will sell jewelry, artwork, clothing, tattoo maintenance oil, beard oil and other merchandise.

How does it work if I want to get tattooed at the fest?

You must be 18 or older and will be required to show a valid ID and sign a release form. To get tattooed by a specific artist, it’s recommended you contact them in advance to set up an appointment. (A list of participating artists on the event website takes you to their Instagram accounts.) Some artists will be accepting walk-up tattoos. Just ask at the booth.

Who is hosting the event?

Tattoo Fest and the Explorer Tattoo Conference present the event in cities across the country, with 13 such fests scheduled in 2025.
